The countdown has begun as we are just 74 days away from the start of the season.  Only 74 days before the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks kick off the schedule.  Finally, the end of the long offseason is almost upon us.

With the release of the schedule, fans and players alike start the countdown.  We highlight games, order TV packages, and even schedule vacations around the games we are looking forward to the most.  After all, let’s face it, the NBA season can drag on at times and some games seem to matter more than others.

Some of these games can be predicted, such as a battle between two rivals, opening night, jersey retirements, etc.  Others come entirely out of the blue.  For example, who would have guessed last summer that a game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors in late January would be one of the best of the season, with Terrence Ross exploding out of nowhere for 51 points while hitting 7-of-10 shots from beyond the arc.

That’s one of the beautiful things about basketball…something unexpected and amazing can happen on any given night.

And yet we still circle specific games on our calendars ahead of time.  Here are the 10 Cleveland Cavaliers’ games that look the most fascinating going into the season.
