The 2014-15 NBA season is fast approaching and on Wednesday the Boston Celtics released their full schedule for next season. After a disappointing 2013-14 campaign, the Celtics will look to improve dramatically on the paltry 25 wins they managed last season with an infusion of young talent and another year of experience for both their coach and players.
The Celtics’ schedule is absolutely brutal to start the season, with 12 of the first 15 games played against teams who made the playoffs last season, in addition to the new-look Cavaliers led by LeBron James. The early stretch includes championship favorites like the Cavs, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs which will make it tough for the young Celtics early on.
With the major offseason moves now complete and near-full rosters to assess, we can take a closer look at the Celtics’ schedule for the 2014-15 season and highlight the top five games Celtics’ fans should be circling on their calendar.
