The Denver Nuggets are heading into a very interesting and uncertain season, but they have a lot of talent on the roster to compete in a difficult Western Conference. They still have star point guard Ty Lawson leading the way, and they have a great supporting cast around him. Kenneth Faried, JaVale McGee, Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinari, Randy Foye, Wilson Chandler, J.J. Hickson, and Nate Robinson are all names that will be helping Lawson attempt to take the Nuggets back to the playoffs.

Perhaps the most underrated move of the offseason has been the Nuggets’ acquisition of shooting guard Arron Afflalo from the Orlando Magic. They were able to steal him away for just Evan Fournier and a second-round pick, and will be getting a complete scorer and good defender. Afflalo averaged 18.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, while shooting 42.7 percent from behind the three-point arc.

Brian Shaw is also entering his second season as the Nuggets’ head coach, and he will be much improved after experiencing his first full NBA season as a head coach last year. He has the potential to become one of the better coaches in the league, and he will prove his full potential this coming season. The Nuggets have an exciting roster mixed with veteran players and youth, and Shaw is going to use them to the fullest of their abilities.

What five bold predictions can be made about the 2014-15 Nuggets?
