Atlanta Hawks — Thabo Sefolosha

Let’s not forget that before Al Horford went down during the 2013-14 season that the Hawks appeared to be the Eastern Conference’s third-best team. They’ve got Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap and Horford — an awfully good trio, if you ask me. They had a couple of holes to fill, namely perimeter defense and more 3-point shooting opposite Kyle Korver. They filled those gaps, albeit not in a flashy way.

Sefolosha was one of the key contributors for the Oklahoma City Thunder over the past few seasons, as a guy who would happily take outside jumpers and play defense. He fell off a bit in 2013-14 (shooting just 31.6 percent from three), which is why the Thunder were willing to part with him. However, his two previous seasons saw him shoot 43.7 and 41.9 percent from outside, combined with some excellent defense. Who doesn’t want 3-and-D guys?
