The Dallas Mavericks have officially filled their 15-man roster for the 2014-15 season.

It’s a pretty good one.

The Mavs completed their free agency bonanza (for now) on Thursday with the acquisition of former Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson, giving Dallas perhaps its most loaded roster in recent memory. One look at this squad says the Mavs could play 11-13 players a night.

Now, it’s a matter of how Rick Carlisle plans to utilize the rotation. We have a good sense what will be the starting five come this fall, but working out the bench may be the most complex aspect of Carlisle’s job this season.

So let’s take a look, position by position, at the Mavs’ roster and make sense of all of this.
