You might recall the debate that swept the nation and the basketball blogosphere some months ago. Thankfully, it died out just as it reached (surpassed?) intolerable levels.

It started when James, then with the Miami Heat, was interviewed by NBA TV. During the televised event, James said that he believed he would eventually be recognized as one of the game’s best players.

It sparked a slew of ridiculous and fun debates that could go on for hours and vary from person to person, depending on their perspective on what makes a historically-great player.

However, this isn’t about the NBA’s monument but one specifically built for the team down in Miami. After 26 years of existence for the Heat franchise, which four individuals get memorialized for all-time?
