The big offseason news yesterday in the NBA was that after weeks of reports to the contrary, the Cleveland Cavaliers had allegedly changed their stance on Andrew Wiggins’ availability in a potential Kevin Love trade. The Minnesota Timberwolves were adamant Wiggins be included in a deal for Love and once Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported the LeBron James had reached out to Love, it started to feel like it’s only a matter of time before an offer is on the table.

But what does that mean for the Cavs? And for that matter, what does it mean for Love, LeBron, Wiggins, and the Timberwolves? Including Wiggins in a trade to bring Love to Cleveland comes with a ton of ramifications, some of which we won’t see coming until the deal happens and the season is under way.

But since this is free agency and all we can do right now is speculate, let’s take a look at the pros and cons of the Cavaliers including No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins in a package for Kevin Love.
