NEXT YEAR’S GONNA ROCK BE SLIGHTLY BETTER

30. Philadelphia 76ers
29. Milwaukee Bucks
28. Utah Jazz

It’s amusing that the 76ers appear to be drafting on layaway. First, they got Nerlens Noel and had to watch him sit a year, now they’ve drafted Joel Embiid and will watch him sit. If that wasn’t enough, at least they acquired Dario Saric, so they can give him a good two years away from the club.

Jabari Parker will likely get the lion’s share of the press in Milwaukee, but I’m most impressed with the work Giannis Antetokounmpo did on hid body. Compared to last year, he looks like he put on 20 pounds of muscle. He’s very talented and now that he’s growing into his body — watch out. They do still have O.J. Mayo though, so no power rankings boost for them.

I’m not on the Dante Exum bandwagon just yet. I’m also not crazy that the Jazz tied up their cap space for a guy who’s at best a No. 2 option in Gordon Hayward. They’re hinging their hopes that Trey Burke improves quickly…I’m not on that bandwagon, either.
