There are quite a few free agents on the market that are in a holding pattern waiting for LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony to sign, and one of those players is Phoenix Suns restricted free agent Eric Bledsoe. The Suns have been very adamant that they want to keep Bledsoe on their roster, but they will also have to give a big contract to Goran Dragic next offseason.

In addition to Dragic, the Suns have also been looking to acquire another big name player through either free agency or trade.

If the Suns are able to sign a star in free agency or acquire one through a trade, they simply will not have the type of money to give Bledsoe the type of contract that he’s looking to sign. There are plenty of other teams that are interested in signing a player with the potential and skills that Bledsoe possesses, but it won’t be easy to lure him away from Phoenix.

Bledsoe played in just 43 games last season with the Suns due to some injury issues, but still started in 40 of those appearances. He averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game, and also chipped in with 1.6 steals on the defensive side of the basketball.

His potential seems to be unlimited, and his “star” potential was made extremely obvious with his play last season. Which three teams are candidates to sneak in and sign Bledsoe away from Phoenix?
