Jodie Meeks (Signed)

After spending two seasons with the Lakers, Jodie Meeks signed in Detroit on a three-year deal reported to be in the region of $19.5m. Meeks will give the Pistons some much needed depth and experience in the back court, particularly after the departure of Chauncey Billups.

On the surface this deal might seem a little rich for Meeks, but his play in LA was exceptional last season. Meeks averaged over 15 points per game, shooting over 40 percent from deep, and with a true shooting percentage of 60.1 percent.

They’re the sort of shooting numbers that will help Van Gundy to space the floor, and improve upon the Pistons rank as the 29th best three-point shooting team in the NBA last season.
