The Cleveland Cavaliers have been very active in trade talks throughout the past few weeks, and Dion Waiters’ name has come up in discussions since last season at the trading deadline. It appears that he is very much available once again this offseason, and there are plenty of teams out there that could use a player with the scoring ability and potential that Waiters possesses.

Waiters simply didn’t fit with what the Cavaliers were doing last season, and there have been reports of issues growing between Waiters and Kyrie Irving. In an ideal world, Waiters would be able to conform his game and accept the role that he has had with the Cavaliers over the past couple of seasons, but that doesn’t appear very likely at this point. He certainly has the potential to start for another team, but even having a larger role would likely make him happy.

There are plenty of potential trade destinations for him, but there are three distinct situations that would be perfect for him. Which three teams should look to make a run at acquiring him?

unless I read where vogel has decided that having guys score coming off the bench is good thing then I do not hold my breadth when I read about the guys they should get to help in that area. they acquired 2 guys who do 1 thing very well and that is score and he refused to use them properly in the case of scola or use them at all in the case of of copeland. if he refused to use them for the reason they were signed and traded for what good will it do to sign anybody else to do the same thing?
