3. Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers have an incredibly glaring need at the point guard position with Steve Nash‘s declining health, and Lowry would be the answer for them for the next few seasons. He is going to command a large contract, but Los Angeles has plenty of money to get that done. His ability to score the basketball, facilitate the offense, and make plays for his teammates would be a major upgrade over Nash, Kendall Marshall, and Jordan Farmar.

All that being said, Lowry wants to win basketball games and the Lakers don’t currently have enough of a roster to do that. Kobe Bryant will be coming back next year, but the Lakers would have to make a few more moves in order to get back into playoff contention.
