For NBA free agents, being unrestricted is like having a golden ticket — especially when you’re one of the best available. Having the ability to choose where you play and for how much is something that you have to earn in the NBA and it’s often well worth it. This list is going to take a look at the 10 best unrestricted free agents in the NBA today.

The top unrestricted free agents this offseason offer up a bit of everything. We’ve got an aging veteran who’s defying father time, a hard-nosed point guard who can’t seem to stay healthy but is tremendous when he’s right and a castoff who plays his heart out on both ends of the court, yet found himself in the doghouse in Cleveland, of all places.

One thing that could completely alter this list would be if LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh exercise their early termination option. There’s also the thought that Carmelo Anthony and Rudy Gay are going to opt-out and both of them would find themselves on this list were that to happen.
