Part of the reason Darren Collison thrived with the Clippers last year was the counterbalance he offered with Paul. In many ways, with Paul on the floor LA would try to think the opposition to death, while if they needed to inject some extra directness, or aggression, Collison would enter the game.

Christon’s physical tools indicate that he could have the same type of impact as a rotation player. Christon is a powerful and fearless runner, who will only continue to get stronger with time. His style of play is to take the basketball, and in turn, control of the situation, and drive to the rim.

Christon is so quick, that there might well be no one in the NBA that could get in front and stop him. When Christon locks into attack mode, he’s a blur. In what can seem like milliseconds, the 21 year old can go from the perimeter to the rim. Then, once he gets to the rim, he’s unafraid of contact, and does what’s necessary to score.
