Welcome to the Daily NBA Fix for May 30, 2014. The San Antonio Spurs had lost momentum in their series against the Oklahoma City Thunder after dropping consecutive games on the road. You know coach Gregg Popovich was going to have them ready to play, but nobody saw what was actually coming (but we should have).

For the fifth time in as many games, the home team blew the road team out of the building. In this case, the Spurs pulled away after halftime, leading to a 28-point throttling of Kevin Durant and his Thunder.

The Thunder now face the daunting task of having to win two in row, with a potential Game 7 being back in San Antonio on Monday night. The stakes for the Spurs are historic, as they need just one win to be the first Spurs team to reach the NBA Finals in back-to-back seasons.

Check out the highlight package below first, then get into the game capsules (home teams in CAPS).
