Welcome to the Daily NBA Fix for May 29, 2014. The Miami Heat visited the Indiana Pacers in an effort to eliminate them and become the first team since the 1984-87 Boston Celtics to go to four consecutive NBA Finals. Despite having an 11-point lead in the third quarter and an opportunity to tie in the waning seconds, it wasn’t meant to be. The Pacers lived to fight another day, as they won 93-90 in a game that was unusual in a historic sort of way. More on that later. Paul George looked like a superstar again and LeBron James had to deal with foul trouble and Lance Stephenson. Game 6 will be at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on Friday night. We’ve got the game capsule on the next page, then we’ve provided you with links for all 30 teams. We’ll be doing this daily throughout the offseason to highlight some of the good stuff outside of HoopsHabit.com. Check out the highlight package below first, then get into the game capsules (home teams in CAPS).
