The Miami Heat climbed back from a 15-point first half hole, outscoring the Indiana Pacers 77-50 after the Pacers took a 37-22 lead in the second quarter, and took a 2-1 lead in the conference finals Saturday night.
Ray Allen scored all 16 of his points in the second half, 13 in the fourth quarter, while LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 22 of the Heat’s 33 third-quarter points as they turned a four-point halftime deficit into a seven-point lead at the quarter break.
James finished with 26 points and four steals for Miami and Wade added 23 points and three thefts. Paul George led the Pacers with 17 points, Roy Hibbert added 16 and Lance Stephenson went for 10 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
Game 4 of the series is Monday in Miami.
