Point Guard – Mario Chalmers vs George Hill

Having faced Kemba Walker in the first round and Deron Williams in the second, finally Mario Chalmers gets a slightly easier matchup, where he has a chance to be the best point guard on the floor.

Rio tends to be aggressive when guarded by Hill as illustrated by the 16 drives per game, which is the second-most from the season matchup. That forces the defense to collapse on him and he can easily kick it out to one of many shooters behind the arc. Either that or take it the hole himself.

With all due respect to him, George Hill is the weak link in Indiana’s starting five and Chalmers must exploit that matchup.
