We’re only a day away from the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals and only four teams remain in the 2014 NBA Playoffs. But that doesn’t mean the first two rounds didn’t supply us with plenty of food for thought, so before the conference finals begin, now’s as good a time as any to look back and try to make sense of one of the craziest, headline-heavy postseasons this league has seen in decades.

In Part 1 of our 10 Burning Questions, we examined the NBA’s officiating problem, wondered if the players would really boycott if Donald Sterling gets to keep his team, analyzed how the Golden State Warriors may have made a mistake giving Mark Jackson the axe, laughed about Mikhail Prokhorov’s “make it rain” policies for his team’s payroll and identified the Houston Rockets as the most disappointing playoff team thus far. In Part 2, we’ll dive a little bit deeper into the bigger questions and talk a little more about the remaining contenders.
