Through the first three games, the fifth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers were outclassed by the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs. On Monday however Portland raised its level to win 103-92 over San Antonio, which resembled a team looking ahead towards the next round instead of staying on task.

Hold your horses Spurs, the Blazers aren’t done quite yet. Portland was the last squad down 3-0 to force a Game 7, at the Dallas Mavericks in 2003. However, like all the rest who’ve been down 3-0, the Trail Blazers went on to lose the best-of-7 series.

Portland became just the third team to force a seventh game after trailing 3-0 during an NBA playoff series. The Blazers hope they can become the fourth and possibly the first ever to come all the way back to win a series. The previous 109 franchises to face a 3-0 hole in a best-of-7 situation have all gone on to lose.

Before we get to Game 5 let’s take a look at Portland’s bench production, Boris Diaw‘s stellar offensive play and LaMarcus Aldridge‘s performance as well as highlight how Danny Green found his shot late and point guard productivity.
