The Skinny:
Prior to the 2013-14 NCAA season, Kentucky big man Julius Randle was among a crop of exciting incoming freshman that included Kansas swingman Andrew Wiggins and Duke forward Jabari Parker that had the NBA world buzzing with excitement. All Randle has done since then is top the entire nation in double-doubles and lead an inexperienced Wildcats squad through to the NCAA championship game. Now, despite his excellent performance at the college level, his name is often left out when discussing the top three picks in the draft. Randle appears a certainty to become a productive NBA player, but the big question remains how high of a ceiling does he have exactly? We’ll break it down.

Randle doesn’t quite have an NBA-ready body just yet, but I bet a full offseason with the NBA’s strength and conditioning coaches will get him there. He has the frame, that’s for sure.
