INDIANA PACERS 92, Atlanta Hawks 80
Game 7, Eastern Conference First Round
Paul George scored a playoff career-high 30 points as the Pacers finally put away the pesky Hawks.

Indiana came back to win the series after falling into a 3-2 series hole, the 38th team out of 264 in NBA history to do so.

The Pacers held Atlanta without a basket over the final 6:12 of the first half while opening up a 47-36 halftime lead and then opened the second half on a 10-4 run. The combined 24-6 spurt across intermission was just too much for the Hawks to overcome.

Indiana put the game away with George scoring six straight points as part of a 9-1 run for the Pacers. Atlanta never got closer than 10 points after that.

There was even a Roy Hibbert sighting in Game 7 (somewhere other than looking glum on the bench) as the All-Star center was 6-for-10 from the floor and scored 13 points to go with five blocked shots.

George also had 11 rebounds for the Pacers. Lance Stephenson went for 19 points and 14 rebounds, George Hill had 15 points and David West, the shooting star of Game 6, was just 1-for-7 from the floor and scored four points, but had 13 rebounds and six blocked shots as Indiana set a franchise playoff record with 13 blocks.

Kyle Korver led the Hawks with 19 points. Jeff Teague added 16, Paul Millsap finished with 15 points, 17 rebounds and four steals and Mike Scott also scored 15 points.

The Pacers open the Eastern Conference Semifinals Monday when they host Washington.
