MIAMI HEAT 101, Charlotte Bobcats 97 (Miami leads series 2-0)

That’s About Right — We knew the Bobcats had a stronger inside presence than the Heat, so it’s not shocking to learn that the Cats outrebounded the Heat 41-37 (15-4 offensively). It’s also not surprising to learn the Bobcats were plus-8 in points in the paint and plus-10 in second chance points. But, this is the Heat we’re talking about and they know how to get quality looks against anyone. The Heat shot 52.2 percent as a team, with LeBron James scoring 32 points with six rebounds, eight assists and four steals on 11-for-17 from the field. Chris Bosh shot 8-for-11 for his 20 points as well. The Bobcats got 22 points and 10 rebounds from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and 18 points with 13 rebounds from the hobbled Al Jefferson.

Dallas Mavericks 113, SAN ANTONIO SPURS 92 (Series tied 1-1)

Give It Away, Now — One of these teams turned the ball over 24 times, which led to 33 points for the opposition. You’d have thought it would be the Mavericks who were sloppy as opposed to the Spurs, but you’d be wrong. Tony Parker turned it over three times in 25:43, Manu Ginobili turned it over 6 times in 22:46 and the Mavs took full advantage. Monta Ellis led the way with 21 points and three steals, Shawn Marion added 20 with three steals and Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 with two steals. Ginobili did make up for his turnovers by scoring 27 in his limited time.

Portland Trail Blazers 112, HOUSTON ROCKETS 105 (Portland leads series 2-0)

This Man Is On Fire — LaMarcus Aldridge shot 18-for-28 from the field and 7-for-8 from the foul line to score 43 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocks as the Blazers take a commanding 2-0 series lead going back to Portland. All is not what it seems, though. The Rockets thoroughly demolished the Blazers in the paint, outscoring them 68-30. The Blazers were fairly one-dimensional, but if you’re going to make all those jumpers, I guess it doesn’t matter. Damian Lillard shot just 3-for-14 from the field but scored 18 with eight rebounds and 11 assists. The Rockets were led by Dwight Howard, who scored 32 points with 14 rebounds and four blocks.
