The Toronto Raptors are one of the most exciting teams to watch in the NBA and Tuesday night was no exception.

Even though the Raptors didn’t necessarily play their best game of the season, they did plenty of good things along the way to defeating the Brooklyn Nets 100-95 to even their first-round series at 1-1.

After falling 94-87 in Game 1, the Raptors responded in a number of ways — much to the delight of the Air Canada Centre crowd as well as those watching on television.

Here are five reasons why I think the Raptors were able to achieve the result they wanted, one that not only extends the series to at least five games, but also assures at least one more game north of the border in the 2014 NBA Playoffs.
