As the 2014 NBA Draft nears, fans, scouts, general managers and analysts alike are in search of an under-the-radar player who will turn heads at the next level. Said players are discovered every year, which makes finding them before they slip down draft boards such an important thing to do.

In 2014, if you’re looking for a sleeper to fall in love with, K.J. McDaniels of the Clemson Tigers is your player.

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, McDaniels will declare his eligibility later this week. The official website of the Clemson Tigers later confirmed the news.

McDaniels spent three seasons with the Tigers and emerged as one of the most respected players in the deep ACC. He’s a two-way force who shined equally on both ends of the court, which makes him a player that an organization could easily fall in love with.
