With the NBA regular season all but over, teams that won’t be making the journey to the playoffs will start looking towards the future. That future begins immediately but it’s mostly on hold until the 2014 NBA Draft in June.

For teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers, the season couldn’t have gone any worse while teams such as the Phoenix Suns just narrowly missing the playoffs have a lot to look forward to. In the end, most of them are in the draft lottery and will start to build their franchises towards next season and beyond.

We’ll take a look at some teams that desperately need to draft wisely in the 2014 draft or risk losing for long stretches of time, not just one season.
