The Atlanta Hawks faced a loaded schedule in the past week, as the pressure ramped up a notch in the race for the playoffs. The Hawks faced the prospect of five games in seven days, with three of those being against playoff teams.

The week opened up on the road in Indianapolis against the recently struggling Indiana Pacers. On Tuesday, it was a return home to host the lottery bound Detroit Pistons. Wednesday offered another home game, against another lottery team, as the rebuilding Boston Celtics came to town. The Hawks hit the road again to start their weekend back-to-back, the first game saw the Brooklyn Nets as the opponent in New York. Before finally, the Miami Heat visited the Hawks in a preview of a potential playoff match-up.

The Hawks finished the week at 4-1, clinching their place in the postseason for a seventh consecutive season.
