The 2012-13 Atlantic-10 Freshman of the Year and a player who a season later, challenged Creighton’s Doug McDermott for the Big East Player of the Year Award, Semaj’s Christon’s physical gifts are never in question.

What he continues to do with them, however, will determine how far he can go from here.

At 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Christon is long, athletic and explosive. But an inability to reel in those attributes at times might make Christon a tweener at the next level — too small to be an NBA shooting guard, yet at times, not polished or in control enough to run an offense as an NBA-caliber point guard.
