Los Angeles Clippers 118, HOUSTON ROCKETS 107
The Clippers picked up a huge road win to open a two-game lead over Houston for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, but lost Blake Griffin to back spasms in the first quarter. The game also featured the Clippers winning in spite of some sideline drama; Glen Davis was apparently angry with coach Doc Rivers about being removed from the game. Rivers responded by having Davis escorted to the locker room. Chris Paul finished with 30 points and 12 assists for the Clippers, DeAndre Jordan added 20 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots, Jamal Crawford scored 22 points and Matt Barnes went for 15 points and 10 rebounds. James Harden paced the Rockets with 32 points and Chandler Parsons added 28. Omer Asik finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 123, Detroit Pistons 98
Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams each scored 21 points as the Sixers ended their epic losing skid, with Carter-Williams also getting four steals. Henry Sims had 16 points and Jarvis Varnado blocked six shots. Greg Monroe led the Pistons with 20 points and 10 rebounds, Rodney Stuckey added 17 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 16.
