Since beginning play in the 1995-96 season as an expansion franchise, the Toronto Raptors have made five appearances in the NBA playoffs.

Now with the Raptors all but guaranteed to return to the postseason for the first time since the spring of 2008, excitement is starting to build among fans and media in Toronto.

The journey for the Raptors — now in their 19th season — has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride for anyone with a rooting interest in the team. There have been moments full of promise and hope and other times when the Raptors were downright dysfunctional and tough to watch.

As it may seem like a lifetime ago that the Raptors took to the court for a playoff round, the following slides are meant as a review of the seasons when their golf plans had to be put on hold.
