NCAA Tournament 2014: Half Of Sweet 16 Field Set On Saturday

Day three of the 2014 NCAA tournament is complete and oh what a day it was. OK so it wasn’t great, but really we were spoiled with those Round of 64 games. Some of Saturday’s games were blowouts but at least one game, and at least one result, captured the nation’s attention on Saturday night. Eight teams punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 set for next weekend.

First round action saw seven double-digit seeds advance to the Round of 32 with a number of overtime thrillers. Round of 32 action was a little different for a number of reasons but still entertaining enough which isn’t exactly unusual.
