Houston Rockets 118, CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 111
The Rockets, without Dwight Howard for a third straight game, got 37 points from James Harden en route to an easy win over Cleveland. Harden had 17 points in the third quarter as Houston opened up a 22-point lead before Cleveland made it respectable over the final 12 minutes. Harden also had 11 assists and four steals for the Rockets, Chandler Parsons had 16 points and Patrick Beverley scored 15. Dion Waiters led the Cavaliers with 26 points, Tyler Zeller had 23, Tristan Thompson logged 10 points and 12 rebounds, Anderson Varejao posted 12 points and 11 boards and Matthew Dellavedova finished with 14 points and 10 assists.

CHARLOTTE BOBCATS 124, Portland Trail Blazers 94
The Bobcats stopped a two-game slide in stride, opening a 23-point halftime lead and cruising past Portland. Al Jefferson had 28 points for Charlotte, Kemba Walker added 26 and Gerald Henderson scored 23. Damian Lillard paced the Blazers with 20 points, Dorell Wright scored 17 and Wesley Matthews had 15.
