After a month of struggles, the Atlanta Hawks got themselves back on track last week as they went undefeated. With the Hawks in much improved form, the eighth seed, and their destiny, is very much in their own hands. The Hawks find themselves four games up on the ninth placed surging Knicks in the loss column, while above them, Atlanta is currently matching the seventh place Bobcats loss tally of 36. With 15 regular season games remaining for the Hawks,  the final playoff spot is very much theirs to lose.

The week opened up in Time Warner Cable Arena against the aforementioned Bobcats, in their third meeting of the season. The following night, the Hawks found themselves back home to face the third placed Toronto Raptors. Then on Friday evening, the Hawks week came to a close with the visit of Anthony Davis and his New Orleans Pelicans, in the conclusion of the teams’ season series.

The Hawks finished the week at 2-1, as they continue to pick up momentum.
