New York Knicks 93, PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 92
James Anderson dropped the ball out of bounds with 8.6 seconds left and the Knicks hung on to hand the 76ers their 23rd straight loss, matching the second-longest skid in NBA history. Carmelo Anthony had dropped in an 18-foot jumper with 29 seconds left to give New York the lead and then Anderson fumbled a pass from Tony Wroten when Thaddeus Young appeared to be all alone with a chance to give Philadelphia their first win since Jan. 29. Amar’e Stoudemire had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks, Anthony added 21 points and Tyson Chandler went for 17 points and 10 boards. Michael Carter-Williams led the 76ers with 22 points and 13 rebounds, missing a triple-double by an eyelash with nine assists. Young had 21 points and four steals and Henry Sims finished with 16 points and 13 boards.

INDIANA PACERS 91, Chicago Bulls 79
The Pacers went on a 19-0 run in the third quarter and opened a 13-game lead over the Bulls in the Central Division with 13 games to play. Luis Scola had 19 points off the bench for Indiana, Lance Stephenson scored 15, Paul George had a triple-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists and Roy Hibbert finished with 12 points, 11 boards and four blocked shots. Jimmy Butler and D.J. Augustin scored 17 points apiece for Chicago, Joakim Noah finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds and four steals and Mike Dunleavy blocked five shots.
