With one day in the books (or three days, whatever), so far the 2014 NCAA Tournament has been a non-stop thrill ride. From the first game of the day to the final buzzer on Thursday night, there’s a lot to digest with all that happened in about a 12-hour period.

Have no fear, Hoops Habit is here. After each day of the tournament we’ll look at who impressed, who disappointed and we’ll look ahead to the next round of games that were decided. Did you get all that?

A record four overtimes games in one day, already two 12-over-5 upsets and a number of national championship contenders were put on edge. All in all it was a pretty successful day for college basketball fans everywhere.

So here we go. The best and worst from day one of March Madness, the 2014 edition.
