After an incredibly tough couple of weeks, the Atlanta Hawks must have breathed a huge sigh of relief in looking at their upcoming schedule. After their season-long road trip out west, the Hawks are left with a schedule healthily mixing home games with matchups against some of the league’s weakest teams. The past seven days were a good example of exactly this too.
The week opened up in Salt Lake City against the lowly Utah Jazz, in the final leg of the western trip before returning home. After a couple of days rest, it was the Milwaukee Bucks who were the visitors to Philips Arena, for the second of three meetings between the two teams this season. Then on Saturday evening, the Hawks week came to a close with the visit of Brian Shaw‘s Nuggets and the conclusion of their season series.
The Hawks finished the week a much needed 3-0, as they began to move in the right direction again.
