This space in normally reserved for a fresh NBA Rookie Rankings. However, because of the lack of change in the top five over the past month or so and the rookies as a whole having a very lackluster week, we’ll let it go this time and revisit it again this time next week.

What we’ll do instead is take a look back at the 2013 NBA Draft and re-draft the top five picks instead. This might come as a shock to many of you, but the Cleveland Cavaliers would go a completely different direction with their top overall pick. I know, it surprised me too. Well, not really, but we’ll move along.

There are a number of different options the Cavaliers could’ve gone with instead of Anthony Bennett. We won’t spend time harping on Bennett’s shortcomings this year or call him a bust, we’ll just say he hasn’t panned out so far. He’s still very young so there’s time to turn it around. However, if Cleveland had a shot to pick again, they would go a different direction.
