In last night’s NBA action, the MVP race between Kevin Durant and LeBron James got a little bit tighter thanks to a career night from King James, the New York Knicks continued to drive Carmelo Anthony away, the Memphis Grizzlies stayed the course for sneaking into the playoffs and the Brooklyn Nets got a nice little statement win at home.

On today’s Daily NBA Fix, we’ve got game highlights from last night, game summaries, the five best and worst players of the night and the Goose Egg, Clean and Sober and Ironman Awards. We’ll also be taking a look at who’s circling the drain, we’ll throw in some random tidbits, we’ll take a look at the NBA schedule and we’ll even throw in the daily lines with some predictions for the gamblers out there.

Check out the video highlights first and then start on the game capsules (home team in CAPS).

Nice work here…. I disagree about the Nuggets being better off tanking. In terms of percentages in the lottery it makes sense, but they need to evaluate their roster. Who stays going forward other than Lawson? Faried, Hickson, Gallo, Chandler, Fournier? Who’s worth keeping and at what price? If I’m Denver, I’m doing a lot of experimenting right now.
