There are few days in which my Twitter timeline is more active than it was today.  The NBA trade deadline is always an adventure of sorting through rumors for the nuggets of truth.  Most rumors are just that…rumors that never go anywhere.  We are left to wonder whether there was any truth to them, or merely a team executive, or player agent, using the media to advance their own objectives.

But at the end of the day, we are left with plenty of trades to discuss…both real and imaginary.  Based on the rumors, Cleveland was particularly active in discussions, while completing only one trade before the deadline hit.  Analyzing both the completed deal, as well as the rumored deals helps give perspective on the direction of the Cavaliers and how they might continue to shape their roster in the offseason.
