The Atlanta Hawks could have been forgiven for thinking that last week was as bad as things would get, but a tough schedule has seen things take a dive further. After three straight losses, the Hawks entered into this week looking to bounce back, but would finish the week on an extended five-game losing streak.

The week began with a visit to the United Center to face the Chicago Bulls. Despite the difficulties of playing without the injured Derrick Rose, and with Luol Deng now in Cleveland, the Bulls have still managed to find a way to win, with their standing improving by the game. Straight after the game in Chicago finished, the Hawks flew out to Toronto to face the tenacious Toronto Raptors.

The Hawks went 0-2 for the week, bringing their losing streak to five, and adding an urgency to the outcome of their games following the All-Star break.
