The ATL was battered by uncharacteristic weather this week, as the Atlanta Hawks continued to show impressive grit and determination. A week that was supposed to see the Hawks play four games in six days, was made a little bit easier with the postponement of Josh Smith‘s second return home to Atlanta as a result of adverse weather across the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The week began with a visit to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to face the Oklahoma City Thunder and the red-hot Kevin Durant. Following that one the Hawks visited the City of Brotherly Love to play Brett Brown’s Philadelphia 76ers. And the week concluded with Kevin Love‘s Minnesota Timberwolves making their sole trip to Philips Arena this season.

Faced up against the elements, star players and strong teams, the Hawks finished this week at an impressive 2-1.
