College Basketball Midseason All-American Teams

While it may be a little bit past the mid-way point of the season, it’s never too late to present the college basketball midseason All-American teams.

There are plenty of names on this list that will not surprise even the most casual observer of college basketball. However there may be a few that sneak onto the list, depending on your varying opinion. Before we begin we’ll look back at the Hoops Habit pre-season all-american teams. The entire list can be found here, and you’ll find the first team below.

In the pre-season edition, freshmen were not considered for the All-American teams because they hadn’t played a game yet. Now that they all have about 20 games under their belts, they are in the same mix as everybody else.

Pre-Season First Team All-American Team:

Russ Smith, Louisville

Marcus Smart, Oklahoma State

Doug McDermott, Creighton

Mitch McGary, Michigan

Isaiah Austin, Baylor

Let’s see how’s performed up to par for a spot on the Mid-Season All-American teams.
