The Atlanta Hawks had another week that was dominated by injuries. Having already lost Al Horford for the season and with sophomore John Jenkins suffering from a long-term back injury, injuries to Pero Antic, DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague did little to make life easier for the Hawks.

The week began with the visit of the reigning champions, the Miami Heat, to Atlanta. Following that one there was more Floridian opposition for the Hawks, as this time they traveled to the Sunshine State to face the Orlando Magic. On Friday, the San Antonio Spurs visited Philips Arena as coach Mike Budenholzer was once again reunited with his mentor, Gregg Popovich. And the week concluded on the road in Milwaukee against the hapless Bucks.

In a week were they faced many challenges, the Hawks once again showed their strength of character finishing up 3-1.
