Throughout the course of the 2013-14 season, HoopsHabit will be presenting an NBA rookie power ranking, letting you see who has the best shot at winning the Rookie of the Year Award at season’s end.

With another week having passed in the NBA, it’s time for another edition of the Rookie Rankings. Since the end of October it has been Michael Carter-Williams‘ world and the rest of the rookie class are just treading water trying to keep pace. However, as a famous meth empire kingpin once said, “Your best course of action is to tread lightly.”

There is still plenty of time left in the season to leave a lasting impression for the NBA rookies. Some have taken their opportunities on dwindling franchises and given their respective teams hope for the future. Unfortunately the future has no merit for the Rookie Rankings. No, it’s all about “what have you done for me lately.”

So, who’s been standing out in the last week? Let’s find out.
