CLANK: The NBA’s Worst Shooters
Total Field Goals (minimum of 100 attempts)
1. Anthony Bennett (28-for-103, 27.2 percent)
2. Alexey Shved (37-for-128, 28.9 percent)
3. John Lucas III (52-for-154, 33.8 percent)
To be totally fair, Bennett had a pretty big head start on this category. Unofficially, he missed his first 1,500 career NBA shots (or so it felt like). Shved pairs with Ricky Rubio to form one of the worst shooting backcourts in NBA history, and Lucas … well, let’s just say the Jazz faithful don’t mistake him for John Stockton when he’s out there taking jumpers.
