There are times when there is nothing better than winning ugly, and this week was one of them for the Atlanta Hawks. Still struggling to score the ball in Al Horford‘s absence, the Hawks faced a tough week against in form teams.

The week began with a trip to the Barclays center to face the resurgent Brooklyn Nets, gunning for their third straight win. Next up, the conference-leading Pacers were the visitors in Atlanta in the first meeting of the two teams this season. Finally, two nights later the week would finish off with the visit of Atlanta native Dwight Howard and his Houston Rockets.

A solid defensive week filled with gritty performances allowed the Hawks to cause a couple of upsets and finish the week 2-1.
