Indiana Pacers
As long as Granger remembers how to dribble, he’ll be huge off the bench for Indiana this season. Mandatory Credit: Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports /

INDIANA PACERS 86, Toronto Raptors 79

Revenge On The Raptors – Welcome to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where the Pacers are now 17-1 at home after holding off a resurgent Raptors squad last night. Despite DeMar DeRozan‘s 28 points and 20 points off the bench for Patrick Patterson, Indiana got some payback on a Toronto team that just recently beat the Pacers. Roy Hibbert led the way with 22 points and Danny Granger chipped in 13 off the bench. If Granger stays healthy, he looks good enough to be a complete X-factor off the bench for Indy when the playoffs roll around.

Washington Wizards 97, CHARLOTTE HORNETS 83

Marcin Gortat Plays Good Defense? – Gortat was never really known for his defense during his time with the Phoenix Suns, but he held Al Jefferson to just six points on 3-of-9 shooting as the Wizards won in a pretty consistent performance on the road. Bradley Beal led the way with 21 points and five Washington players finished in double figures. For the Bobcats, it was one of the rare times in this world when a Gerald wasn’t good enough (ahem), since Gerald Henderson‘s season-high 27 points weren’t enough. Kemba Walker pitched in 17 points and eight assists, but Charlotte was outscored in every quarter and gave up a big 17-0 run that gave Washington control.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 111, Philadelphia 76ers 93

Mile Marker 10 – With a team-record 10 3-pointers, C.J. Miles scored a season-high 34 and helped the Cavs blow open a big first half lead that put the tanking Sixers away early. Eight of those threes came in the first half and Cleveland opened up a 26-pont advantage, even without the recently acquired Luol Deng being on the floor. Anderson Varejao let the organization know they did the right thing getting rid of Andrew Bynum with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Michael Carter-Williams led Philly with a career-high 33 points, outscoring the rest of the Sixers’ starters by himself by 16.

MIAMI HEAT 107, New Orleans Pelicans 88

Forgot To Take My Talents To South Beach – It’s one thing to lose tough road games on the road without your leading scorer, but when the Pelicans were outscored 64-39 in the second half, Ryan Anderson‘s absence was felt. And it was pretty depressing from NOLA’s perspective. LeBron James led Miami with 32 points, Dwyane Wade followed up with 22 and Chris Andersen had 15 off the bench. Anthony Davis was terrific as usual (22 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, two blocks), but got little help on Jrue Holiday‘s quiet night (four points, seven assists, four turnovers, 2-of-6 shooting).
