New (old) Josh – This is the Josh Smith the Pistons (12-14) were expecting, scoring 30 points with seven rebounds and two blocks. They also knew it might take 13-of-29 from the field to do it. Greg Monroe added 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks as the Pistons handed the Pacers their first home loss of the year. Lance Stephenson led the Pacers (20-4) with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

ATLANTA HAWKS 114, Los Angeles Lakers 100

Team Basketball – On 45 field goals, the Hawks (13-12) compiled a tremendous 34 assists. All five starters scored in double figures, with Al Horford leading the way with 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Jeff Teague added 17 with 10 assists. The Lakers (11-13) got 23 from Nick Young off the bench and 21 points and nine rebounds from Jordan Hill. Kobe Bryant scored eight points on 4-of-14 shooting with five turnovers.
