The Detroit Pistons had a nice stretch recently, winning four straight games to get to .500. Since then, they’ve dropped four of five, including three of four last week.

The Pistons began the week getting blown out at home by the Timberwolves, took a tough overtime loss at New Orleans, came home to beat the Nets and then blew a double-digit fourth-quarter lead and lost in overtime to the Trail Blazers.

We’ll go through the week that was, take a look at how the rookies are doing, discuss some of the week’s highs and lows, recap the injury report, take a look at how the Pistons stacked up statistically last week and for the season, pick a Pistons player of the week and take a quick peek at the week ahead.

As of now, the Pistons are 11-14 and fifth in the Eastern Conference. Detroit trails third-seeded Atlanta by 1½ games but is already 10 games behind Indiana in the Central Division.
