Return of Bynum – Andrew Bynum looked his age for once (he’s only 26) as he scored 20 points with 10 rebounds and five blocks in his best game in four years. Tristan Thompson added 14 with 14 rebounds and Dion Waiters continued his run, scoring 20 off the bench. The Bulls got 27 and 11 assists from Luol Deng but couldn’t close the gap late.

Minnesota Timberwolves 112, DALLAS MAVERICKS 106

Pack Mentality – The Wolves came together and played as a group to pick up a good road win in Dallas. Kevin Martin scored 27, including going 10-for-11 from the free-throw line. Kevin Love put up 21 with 11 rebounds and the Wolves shot 50.6 percent from the field. The Mavericks got 26 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals from Monta Ellis, with Dirk Nowitzki putting in 23 with five rebounds and six assists.
